Corrib Oil Group is seeking an experienced Food Manager to lead our Zambrero team in Castlebar. As a Food Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our Zambrero restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading brand that values growth, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
What You’ll Do:
Lead & Develop Teams: Train, inspire, and motivate your team to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring positive and memorable experiences for every guest.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Hire and onboard new team members, fostering a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
Team Management: Handle staff performance reviews, rostering, and resolve any employee issues in conjunction with the Site Manager.
Operational Excellence: Ensure all food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard, following safety and hygiene protocols.
Financial Management: Manage stock orders, payroll, and cash handling. You’ll also work closely on budgets, profit and loss statements, and cost controls.
Marketing & Promotions: Execute in-store marketing promotions and events, ensuring maximum customer engagement.
Health & Safety: Ensure full compliance with Workplace Health and Safety standards, and ensure all staff are trained appropriately.
What We’re Looking For:
Experienced Leader: Minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience.
Customer-Centric Mindset: You are passionate about delivering exceptional service and building a strong, positive team culture.
Food Safety Knowledge: Must have formal Food Safety training.
Natural Mentor: Ability to identify and develop team members into leadership roles such as Supervisors and Assistant Managers.
Effective Communicator: Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen attentively and speak clearly with both customers and team members.
Adaptability: Ability to multi-task and manage varying customer levels with ease.
Professionalism: Maintain a professional and polished appearance at all times.
