Shop / Deli Assistant - Part Time

SPAR Mountjoy Square, Dublin 7, DO7A3FP require a Part Time Shop / Deli Assistant to join their team.

Successful candidate must be fully flexible. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Be able to prepare high quality food in a cost-effective manner.

• Demonstrate a flair and passion for food preparation.

• Be a team player and support the Deli/Store Management.

• Cook standard dishes within the Deli Department.

• Will be familiar with the operation of all Deli cooking equipment.

• Demonstrate a knowledge of Stock control.

• Maintain Personal and operational Hygiene & HACCP standards.

• Maintain effective displays.

• Showcase their ability to react to sales opportunities.

• Flexibility in hours of work and the role is a must.

• Demonstrate Excellent customer service

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Previous experience in retail would be beneficial

• Knowledge in food safety, hygiene and HACCP would be beneficial

• Customer driven with great communication and interpersonal skills

• Hard-working and flexible, with the ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative

• Professional & polite manner is essential

• Committed to continually improving department standards with an attention to detail
