Shop/Deli Assistant at SPAR Thurles, Tipperary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Shop/Deli Assistant at SPAR in Thurles, Tipperary. As a Shop/Deli Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our shop and deli.

The Role:

• Assist customers with their purchases and provide exceptional customer service at all times

• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately

• Keep the shop and deli areas clean, organised, and well-stocked

• Prepare and serve deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food

• Monitor and maintain food safety standards and practices

• Receive and check deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality

• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and participate in stocktaking

• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

The ideal candidate for this position is friendly, reliable, and has a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Previous experience in a retail or deli environment is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
