We are seeking a dynamic Sales / Deli Assistant to join our team at SPAR Walkinstown. As a Sales / Deli Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and driving sales in our store & fresh food department.

• Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Stock shelves and monitor inventory levels
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets

Shifts: 25-35 hours per week. 

Pay is depending on experience. 

Job Requirements for Sales Assistant Role at SPAR Walkinstown:

• Level 1 in basic food hygiene
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions
• Knowledge of inventory management and stock replenishment
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
