Payroll Co-ordinator

Appleby Westward Group Ltd – Saltash

Monday to Friday

09:00 – 17:00

35 hours per week

Grade 2 – £26,393.75 + Benefits

As a Payroll Co-ordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our business by supporting the delivery of accurate and timely payroll services, while providing excellent customer service to colleagues across the company.

 

The Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Payroll Co-ordinator to join our friendly Payroll team.

 

In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative support to the Payroll Manager, ensuring all payroll matters are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with company procedures. A strong focus on customer service is key, as you will respond to payroll queries promptly and professionally, ensuring colleagues always receive the support they need.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·        Support the Payroll Manager with all aspects of payroll processing

·        Ensure payroll is accurate, efficient, and compliant with company procedures

·        Deliver excellent customer service when handling payroll queries

·        Build strong working relationships across departments

·        Work collaboratively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

 

The successful candidate will have:

·        Previous payroll administration experience

·        A payroll qualification, along with familiarity with SAP, would be considered an asset

·        A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service

·        Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

·        Strong organisational and time management skills

·        Clear and confident verbal and written communication

·        A proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure

·        Team player mindset with willingness to support colleagues
