SPAR – Fresh Food Assistant

SPAR Eastgate, an award-winning convenience retailer in Cork, is on the hunt for a vibrant and hard-working Fresh Food Assistant to join our team at SPAR, Little Island.

You’d be joining our lively fresh food department, crafting delicious sandwiches, salads, and meals daily, all while being part of a warm, friendly team.

Please note we have a Full-Time and Part-time position available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare delicious, food products in our fresh food department.

• Provide support to the management team in the day-to-day operations of the department.

• Ensure compliance with HACCP and Food Safety procedures.

• Prepare customer orders, both hot and cold.

• Keep the fresh food area squeaky clean and maintained, following our Company Food Safety Policy.

• Dazzle our customers with exceptional service and a smile.

• Handle customer queries with efficiency and professionalism.

• Embrace any other exciting duties assigned by store management.
