Deli Supervisor (Full-Time) SPAR Oranmore

SPAR Oranmore is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Deli Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the deli department, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high food safety standards, and supervising team members to deliver a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operation of the deli department

• Lead and support deli team members

• Deliver excellent customer service at all times

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures

• Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation standards

• Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste management

• Support training and development of team members

• Ensure the deli department is clean, organised, and fully stocked

• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally

• Work collaboratively with store management and other departments

• Previous experience in a deli, food service, or retail environment is desirable. Supervisory experience would be an advantage

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Good organisational and time management abilities

• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles is desirable

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and public holidays where required

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
