Deli Supervisor - Full-time

SPAR Maxol, Irishtown Service Station, Kilkenny City R95 CFT6 invites applications for the position of Full-time  Deli Supervisor.

Hours: 40 hours (5 Days) per week Monday- Sunday, 6.30am to 3pm

No evenings or late night working hours. Competitive Salary. Immediate start.

Full Training will be given both on the job and through SPAR Virtual Academy.

This is a full time permanent role. Hours of work are 6.30am to 3pm five days per week from Monday to Sunday. 

Duties will include:

• Daily presentation of the hot and cold deli serve overs and bakery display
• Serving customers
• Responsible for sales, margin and waste control
• Training of all new Deli employees
• Bring new ideas to the Deli on fresh food innovation

The ideal candidate will possess:

• At least 1 year experience in a supervisory role in a Deli or food operation.
• Possess a good operational knowledge of HACCP and food safety
• Experience in ordering stock and managing waste within a fresh food department
• Ability to conduct department stocktakes
• Excellent communication skills
