Job Description: Stores / Shop Assistant - Full Time - Skibbereen, Co. Cork

We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Deli/Sales Assistant to join our team at SPAR in Skibbereen, Co. Cork. As a Full Time Deli/Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner

• Operate in our store room managing the delivery's and stock

• Restock shelves and maintain a clean shopping environment

• Operate on the shop floor and cash register

• Previous experience in fresh food/deli department would be beneficial

• Knowledge in food safety, hygiene and HACCP would be beneficial

• Customer driven with great communication and interpersonal skills

• Hard-working with the ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative

• Flexibility and ability to work weekends

• Professional & polite manner is essential

• Committed to continually improving department standards with an attention to detail

• Committed to delivering great customer experiences in a busy environment

• Enjoys working in a fast paced team environment and with a willingness to embrace new challenges
