Deli Manager - Full-Time

SPAR Firies, Killarney, Co. Kerry, is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Full-Time Deli Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for a motivated person who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

Pay: From €16.00 per hour

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the deli department, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times

• Lead, motivate, and support the deli team to deliver excellent customer service

• Ensure the department operates efficiently and achieves sales and profitability targets

• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance

• Monitor food quality, presentation, and freshness to ensure customer satisfaction

• Manage stock control, ordering, and waste levels effectively

• Train, coach, and develop team members to support their performance and growth

• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment

• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently

• Contribute to the ongoing development and promotion of the deli department
  

• Previous deli, food retail, or supervisory experience is desirable

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Strong leadership and team management abilities

• Good knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to motivate and support a team to achieve high standards

• Flexible to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends

• Reliable, proactive, and able to work on own initiative
