Deli Assistant - Full Time

SPAR Convent Road Abbeyfeale, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, V94CX7K require a full time Deli Assistant to join their amazing team. 

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Deli Assistant to join our team. As a Deli Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli department.

The Role:

• Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, and salads

• Assist customers in selecting products, providing recommendations, and fulfilling orders

• Maintain a clean and organized deli counter, ensuring all products are properly displayed and labeled

• Receive deliveries, check product quality, and ensure proper storage of items

• Operate deli equipment such as slicers, scales, and ovens in a safe and efficient manner

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our customers

• Assist in managing inventory levels, rotating products, and minimising waste

• Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and achieve department goals

The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for food and customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a deli or food service setting is preferred but not required.
