Full Time - Deli Assistant at SPAR Woodstown, Knocklyon, Dublin 16

We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Full Time Deli Assistant to join our team at SPAR Woodstown in Knocklyon, Dublin 16. As a Deli Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli section.

Successful candidate will be available 35-40 hours per week, with shifts being Monday to Sunday from 8am.

The Role:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold food items, including sandwiches, salads, and hot meals

  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times

  • Assist customers in selecting deli products and provide information on menu items

  • Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers in a safe and efficient manner

  • Keep the deli area clean, organised, and well-stocked

  • Operate the POS system accurately

  • Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets

If you are passionate about food, have excellent customer service skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
