Deli Assistant - Full Time

SPAR Letterkenny (Glencar), Glencar Shopping Centre, Ballyboe Glencar, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal require  full  time Deli Assistants  to join their team.

Experience in Deli/Kitchen required

MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To operate within the fresh foods department efficiently, effectively and hygienically to ensure customer satisfaction at all times with the highest standards of service and products.

Duties will include:
To practice efficient stock management and portion control
To maintain clean facilities and a clean work environment in accordance with HACCP legislation
To prioritise customer care and service
To ensure that the deli checks assigned to you are carried out in accordance with your training

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Previous experience in fresh food/deli department would be beneficial
• Knowledge in food safety, hygiene and HACCP would be beneficial
