We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Deli Assistant to join our team at SPAR Dingle. As a Deli Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli section.

The Role:

• Prepare and serve a variety of deli products such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items

• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times

• Assist customers in selecting deli products and provide information on ingredients and allergens

• Keep the deli counter and display cases fully stocked and presentable

• Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers in a safe and efficient manner

• Operate the POS system accurately

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment

• Assist in receiving and storing deli supplies and ingredients

• Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction

If you are passionate about food, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to have you on our team. Previous experience in a deli or food service setting is preferred but not required as training will be provided.
