Deli Assistant / Cook (Full-Time)

SPAR Letterkenny (Glencar), Glencar Shopping Centre, Ballyboe Glencar, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal require a full time experienced Deli Assistant/Cook to join their team.

Previous experience in a food-service role is required. 

MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This is a full time position over seven days. The successful candidate will operate within the fresh foods department efficiently, effectively and hygienically to ensure customer satisfaction at all times with the highest standards of service and products.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Previous experience in food-service /deli department required
• Knowledge in food safety, hygiene and HACCP required
• Customer driven with great communication and interpersonal skills
• Hard-working and flexible, with the ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative
• Professional & polite manner is essential
• Committed to continually improving department standards with an attention to detail
