Job description

Corrib Oil Group are hiring for a Barista Manager who holds exceptional customer service skills to join our team at our service station in Tralee Co. Kerry.


Reporting to Site Manager


Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee/ensure the smooth running of the Insomnia Coffee Station.
  • To manage the Insomnia displays in a fresh and appetising manner and maintain high quality standards, service and food consistency
  • To supervise consumer promotions ensuring products are available and the customers’ needs are met
  • Ensuring staff rosters are in order
  • To manage stock takes, stock ordering and stock management.
  • Training, developing, and driving the team to deliver positive and memorable customer experiences.
  • Hiring new team members and on-boarding them
  • Manage your team, including staff performance reviews, rostering staff, resolving any employee issues including grievances in conjunction with the Site Manager.
  • Office administration duties such as paperwork, cash handling, payroll, rostering and reviewing policies.
  • Compiling, preparing, and maintaining profit and loss statements, budgets, and cost controls with regard to cost of goods and labour.
  • Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety.
  • To motivate and monitor staff so they are fully competent in their roles, placing an emphasis on the delivery of exceptional customer service.

Job requirements


  • Previous restaurant management experience of minimum two years
  • Food Safety Trained
  • Passionate about building a positive culture within the restaurant– focused on exceptional customer service, working together, delegating and following up.
  • Ability to spot the champions in store to develop into Supervisors and Managers
  • Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to both customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain a professional, well-groomed, and neat appearance at all times.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing customer levels as required.
