Back Office Admininstrator, Tullamore

OBJECTIVE

Reporting to the Directors and the Store Manager the person appointed must be familiar with bookkeeping requirements for business. In brief, we use Big Red Book as our accounting package combined with various Excel workbooks. Our Point of Sale (POS) system is RS Accounts which is widely used in the industry, but on-the-job training will be given to the successful candidate, if required.

 

THE ROLE:

  • Entering good inwards\receiving deliveries on RS Accounts and matching same to supplier invoices

  • Entering purchases invoices in purchases book on Big Red Book

  • Reconciling supplier month end statements with invoices and following up on any discrepancies (irregular documents, payments, missing invoices etc)

  • Entering weekly Lotto settlement on Big Red Book

  • Matching weekly newspaper (EM News & Newspread) invoices with supplier statements and entering on big red book

  • Weekly Print Pack - matching BWG (non-central billing) invoices, cages & crates, keep note of all administration charges and rebates

  • Entering daily cash sheets in cash book

  • Matching all Payzone entries from cash sheets to weekly transaction report

  • Entering cash pay-outs from cash sheets onto Big Red Book

  • Entering payments (EFT, DD, cheques etc.) in cheques journal in Big Red Book

  • Ongoing bank reconciliations

  • Compiling data for regular Revenue\CSO returns including PAYE, VAT, Retail Sales Inquiry, Quarterly Asset Inquiry, Earnings Hours & Employment and filing same

  • Setting up and maintaining customers on our Customer Loyalty Scheme

  • Assist in setting up promotion cycles

  • Dealing with daily, employment related, e-mail traffic and telephone calls

  • General administration duties and assisting the Directors and Store Manager with their requirements
